Welcome to St George's Church

A lively and active church at the heart of the Beckenham community

We are a Church of England parish church and we welcome all who wish to visit or worship with us.

Eucharistic worship is central to our life.  On Sunday there is 8.00am Said Holy Communion and 9.30am Sung Eucharist.  On Sunday evening there is  5.30pm  Choral Evensong on the first and third Sundays and on all other Sundays of the month we have a service of Evening Prayer.  We have a midweek Holy Communion Service on  Wednesday at 10.30am.

From our worship stems our social activities and pastoral concerns, including Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals. We minister not only to our congregation but also to all who live and work in and around Beckenham.

Our music and liturgy seek to be the very best we can offer so that people can engage with worship. Everyone is encouraged to join in services and social activities.

St George’s is committed to maintaining a Safeguarding Policy in line with diocesan procedures and good practise and the House of Bishop’s Policy. Further details can be found here

There is wheelchair/buggy access into the building from Bromley Road and we have an accessible toilet at the rear of the church.
