Bell Ringers

Bells have been ringing at St. George's since 1551.

The present ring of ten bells was completed in 1934.

St George's Bells are rung on Sundays, on Special Days and for Weddings and Funerals by request.

Practices are held on Thursday evenings from 7.50 to 9.30 pm.

Bell ringing is a wonderful hobby that gives you the chance to learn a new skill and make lote of new friends. If you're 10 or over, find out more about ringing and arrange a taster session at St. George's. Simply email James Hardy or call him on 07703 585494.
