Guided Tours

During the summer there are guided tours of the church and churchyard led by Joan Conway.

The four tours are :

A – An introduction to the history of the church and some of its monuments.

B – A comparison of the Victorian windows with the modern windows.

C – Story in stained glass.

D – An introduction to the memorials of the churchyard.

The tours will take place during the weeks beginning:

28th July 4th August and 11th August.

They will be on different days of the week and at various times.

This venture is part of the fund raising effort so there will be a charge of £5

Weather may prevent churchyard tours. Sensible shoes should be worn.

Any tour may be cancelled if the church is to be used for a service or if there is a staffing problem. Please check beforehand either by ‘phoning Joan (020 8658 4140), looking at current notices or calling Dave in the church office (020 8663 6996).
